Musical inspirations by Tolkien is completely worked out on a incredible large list at

same site). A lot of Black metal references are there too.
I checked as much of their items as I could and took out only the links which could add something to my specific interest. The list underneath is thus much more specific to certain other search criteria. A very small part of it came from that list, or has coincidental same references. I have a list in preperation with musical inspiration by Yeats, James Joyce,Lorca, E.A.Poe, William Blake,.. too. I will however only list what I like as an example.
Based upon Yeats are for instance Donovan : "The Song Of Wandering Aengus" (from the album H&M). Further : Kiva did a story, Dr.Strangely Strange. I will add it here later.
I know there should be a whole album with Yeats-covers too.
