Recommended. Review : http://psychedelicfolk.com/RU3.html#anchor_64 * Navigator Melnitsa : Zo Krovi (RU,2006)***° Tr.3,9 : 8 min This third and last album sounds more like a live album, and with a more straight-forward, direct and powerful energy from such a live performance. The drumming is also mixed more heavily. The arrangements are once more perfect and powerful, and there are also a few new instruments like pipes and flutes and harp, accordion, and a few additional female folkrock vocal arrangements just here and there. Review : http://psychedelicfolk.com/RU3.html#anchor_64 * SvaSound Veter Vody (=Water Wind) : Svisoplyaska (RU,2005)***° Tr.4,8 : 10 min Started as a side project of Melnitsa but with different evolution.. Review : http://psychedelicfolk.com/RU3.html#anchor_67 * Sketis Vily (=Pitchfork) : Doch Stepei / The Steppe Daught (RU,2006)**** Tr.4, "At the Riverside" 6 min Tr.5, "The Falcon" 7 min 13 These are original songs inspired on folk and the people living on the Steppes. It has powerful, -with an ability to become operatic at times-, female vocals, folkrock arrangements with mostly acoustic guitar, electric and acoustic double bass, folk percussion, various flutes, and violin. Most tracks are slightly upbeat folkrock, but there is a certain capability to work towards pastoral passages too. This is Vily's second album. Obviously there is local Steppe folk used as inspiration, with his whole range of that huge area. Review : http://psychedelicfolk.com/RU3.html#anchor_66 * private (cdr) Vily (=Pitchfork) : ??? (RU,200?) ??? Forgot this cd at home in my cd player, so no track was chosen for airplay. Review : http://psychedelicfolk.com/CZECH5.html#anchor_141 * Indies Jablkon : Best Of Malá Lesni (2007)***° Tr.7, 4 min The more serious side of Jablkon, away from humour and complex arrangements, this is a collection of their period of writing compact songs. Review : http://psychedelicfolk.com/CZECH5.html#anchor_154 * Indies Slede Zive Slede : Milacek Vytvari Krajinu (1998)**** Tr.5,6,7 : 10 min One of the groups, like Boo, who originates from Brno, which shows how rock evolves towards more chamber-like ideas.
